Blog comments woes . . . doh!

It is a common joke to press a button and ask, "What does this button do?" You can use your imagination on all sorts of mishaps that can happen as a result of a pressing what appears to be an innocuous little button.

Well, I did just that. I pressed the Blogger button that said "yes" on comment moderation. Of course, I had no idea what comment moderation actually meant. Then I started complaining to myself that nobody left me any comments on my blog anymore. That must have continued for half a year. Just now, I realized that I had sixteen or so comments to moderate, and it suddenly dawned on me what comment moderation actually meant: I have to approve each comment before it gets posted.

Doh!

Now I feel stupid. If I had read what comment moderation meant, then this embarrassment could have been avoided.

Doh doh!

If I had noticed that there were comments to moderate sooner, then I could have avoided this embarrassment.

Doh doh doh!

Hahaha, as is now, I owe my readers and commenters an apology: sorry for neglecting to publish your comments for so long.

Okay, I've turned off comment moderation. Whew!

With the same silly spirit as Andy, I post this photo:
